Hi, I’m Sidra Javed, the founder of The Creation Station NJ.

I’ve always loved both creativity and technology, and over the years I’ve worked in IT while continuing my education as a doctoral student. Along the way, I noticed that many creative and tech focused spaces can feel intimidating or unwelcoming, especially for women, kids, and families. I kept thinking about how different the experience could be if those spaces felt calmer, kinder, and easier to step into.

Becoming a mom made that idea even more important to me. I wanted to create a place where curiosity is encouraged, mistakes are okay, and trying something new feels exciting instead of stressful. A place where families can slow down, spend time together, and create without pressure.

That’s how The Creation Station NJ came to be. It’s a creative space designed for kids, moms, families, and anyone who wants to explore ideas, learn new skills, and make something meaningful in a supportive environment. Whether it’s your first project or something you’ve been wanting to try for a while, the goal is simply to make creativity feel approachable and fun.
